Foundation of the Hospital -

4 July 2012, inaugurated by his holiness the Dalai Lama, alongside the promoters of Fortis Healthcare, visionary Shri G.S.Bali ji, and senior leadership from Fortis Mohali.

Launch of the First Catheterization Lab -

13 February 2013, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh ji, with Shri G.S.Bali ji, initiated our journey into advanced cardiac care.

Empanelment with ECHS (RC Jammu) -

26 February 2014, Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme initiated.

NABH Accreditation Achieved -

14 January 2016, proudly became the first fully NABH-accredited hospital in the region. The NABH CEO presented the certificate at a formal ceremony in May 2016.

CT Scan -

Installation of 32-Slice CT Scan in July 2018.

Commissioning of MRI (1.5 Tesla) -

26 July 2019, inaugurated by Padma Shri Dr. Yogesh Chawla, marking a leap in precision diagnostics.

4D Ultrasound -

1 September 2020, Deployment of 4D ultrasound in the hospital.

Operational 2nd Cath Lab -

September 2021, Fortis Kangra becomes the only hospital in Himachal Pradesh with two functioning cath labs (on the 5th floor).

Introduction of the Thulium Laser System -

4 April 2024, reinforcing our urology services with cutting-edge technology like TFL.

Endovision System -

9 May 2025, Full activation of the endovision system in our hospital.

3rd Operation Theatre -

June 2025, operational elective surgical care with reduced waiting times.
