Health Talk for ASHA Workers

Fortis Hospital, Kangra recently organized an informative health talk led by renowned gynecologist Dr.Vijaya Bharathi K. for over 60 ASHA workers from the Tiara Block in the month of July, 2025. This initiative aimed to educate and empower our core health workers who tirelessly serve the community by providing essential health services at the grassroots level. During the session, Dr. Vijaya emphasized the critical importance of women's health, covering topics from menstruation to menopause, as well as personal hygiene. She highlighted how women can play a pivotal role in shaping a healthier future for India by prioritizing their own health. This health talk not only enriched the knowledge of the ASHA workers but also reinforced Fortis Hospital's commitment to supporting those who are dedicated to promoting health and well-being within their communities. Through such initiatives, we aim to foster a healthier future for all.
